The candle holders were a project that continued my exploration of wood-turning. Carved from 1-foot-long blocks of spalted maple wood, they consist of stacked geometric shapes that cast an interesting silhouette. The black fungus lines on the wood further enhance their appearance by adding a layer of texture.​
