This project was an opportunity for me to explore a new field in woodworking. Only having experience with basic machinery, such as the band saw and the drill press, I challenged myself to learn wood-turning with the lathe for this object. Its simple and minimal form allows it to join multiple decoration styles, and the large opening accommodates both wide candles and small incense holders.
